1. In the privacy statement the following definitions apply:

​Website: the website www.retirosol.com, including associated subdomains, or any other website that is managed by or on behalf of Retiro Sol.

  1. This Privacy Statement describes how Retiro Sol processes the personal data of Users.
  2. Retiro Sol considers it important to protect the privacy of Users in accordance with the applicable privacy regulations. In this statement we explain which personal data we process and how we handle this if you use our Website and/or create a profile with us on our Website. We also explain why we collect this personal data, to whom this personal data is provided and who is allowed to process this personal data.
  3. We do not collect and/or use personal data for purposes other than the purposes for which the User provided the personal data to Retiro Sol, unless we have obtained your prior written consent.

3. Purposes for Processing

Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

  1. If the User requests information about services from Retiro Sol on or via the Website, Retiro Sol will process the personal data to comply with that request.
  2. If the user creates a profile on or via the Website, Retiro Sol processes the personal data to create that profile.
  3. If the User has registered for a newsletter and offers, Retiro Sol will use the personal data to send the newsletter and offers to the User.
  4. To make the Website and the User's personal portal work properly.

4. Collection and Use of Personal Data

  1. When you use our Website, you can provide us with personal data via the Website, for which you give explicit permission. We collect and use this personal data for the purposes referred to in Article 2. The personal data processed by Retiro Sol are:
    • The first name and/or nickname, prefixes and last name;
    • The address and place of residence;
    • The citizen service number (BSN);
    • Curriculum Vitae (CV), diplomas and personnel documents such as a copy
    • ID card or passport;
    • A passport photo;
    • Marital status and nationality;
    • The (private) e-mail address:
    • Information about training;
    • Data on availability, employment history and leave;
    • The bank account number;
    • Other data required by law;
    • Other personal data for which we have received permission from you.
  2. Retiro Sol only records special categories of personal data after your explicit consent. if you upload your (passport) photo, you give permission for its storage and publication. The same applies to the voluntary video application (whether or not via WhatsApp). Retiro Sol will store your consent.

​5. Third Parties

Retiro Sol will not provide personal data of its Users to third parties without your prior consent, unless:

  1. the provision is made to a processor engaged by Retiro Sol for the purposes listed in this Privacy Statement, with which processor Retiro Sol has concluded an agreement that ensures that the processor offers sufficient guarantees with regard to technical and organizational security measures with regard to the processing operations;
  2. RETIRO SOL is obliged by law to pass on personal data to competent authorities.

6. Delete

  1. As a User of the portal, you are in principle able to change or delete your personal data.
  2. As a user you have the right to inspect, correct, supplement, delete and protect your personal data. This also applies to the data relating to your application. If you, as a User, want to make use of one of these rights or if you have any questions about this Privacy Statement, you as a User can send an e-mail to info@retirosol.com

7. Retention Period

Retiro Sol does not store a User's personal data for longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes of data processing stated in this Privacy Statement. Retiro Sol will store personal data for longer if it is legally obliged to do so.

8. Security

  1. Retiro Sol has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect Users' personal data against loss or unlawful processing. The personal data is stored on secure servers of our hosting party. We use wordpress.com to process our website. Hosting is also being taken care of by them. See wordpress.com for more information.
  2. The User is aware that the security of data transmitted over the internet cannot be guaranteed 100%. Retiro Sol makes every reasonable effort to secure the personal data provided by the User, but can therefore not fully guarantee the security of the personal data sent by the User.

9. Changes

Retiro Sol reserves the right to amend this Privacy Statement. We advise the User to regularly check the Website to see if any changes have been made to this Privacy Statement. The current Privacy Statement was updated on 16-01-2023.

10. Third Party Websites

The Website contains links to other internet sites of third parties. Retiro Solis not responsible for the actions of those other internet sites with regard to privacy. We recommend that you read the privacy statement of every other internet site. This Privacy Statement only applies to information collected through the Website.

11. Cookies

  1. Cookies are small pieces of (text) information that a server sends to the browser with the intention that the browser will send this information back on a subsequent visit. Retiro Sol cookies cannot damage your computer, smartphone, tablet or files.
  2. Retiro Sol places cookies that are necessary for the use and functioning of the Website. It is possible that some features and services on our Websites will not function properly if cookies are disabled in your browser or you do not consent to their placement.
  3. We also use cookies to help the Website analyze how Users use the Website. This information consists of: your IP address, the type of browser, the computer system you use, account number, the pages you visit on the Website. The information obtained is then used to make the Website work properly (keeping track of logged-in users, session information, etc.). In addition, we collect information about surfing behavior on our Website by means of cookies, which is also used to optimize our Website. Retiro Sol does not place cookies for the benefit of other parties, such as advertising networks. If you do not appreciate the use of cookies, as described above, our website is unfortunately not suitable for you.
  4. Retiro Sol uses, among other things, Google Analytics. Google's servers are located outside the European Union. We have concluded a processor agreement with Google. We have used the “Google Analytics privacy-friendly setup manual” as provided by the AP (version October 31, 2017). Google may provide the information to third parties if it is legally obliged to do so or if these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. We have no influence on this. Also we use mytourist.cloud.
